Q: What is Wealthy School Revolution?
A: It is a program that will earn revenue for your school through on-line grocery shopping. It’s that simple.
Q: How does it work?
A: Go online to wealthyschools.ca. Create an account that is connected to your school. Start shopping. Your school will earn up to 20% with every single order.
Q: What types of groceries are available?
A: We have over 2000 grocery items available. All are non-perishable, healthy, everyday groceries that you are already buying in the stores. Instead of giving the profit to your local grocery store, you can now give it to your child’s school.
Q: How often are the groceries delivered?
A: The groceries are delivered to your school every 2 weeks in boxes with your name on a clearly marked label. Pick up your groceries when you pick up your child from school.
Q: Is there a minimum order? Is there a cost for delivery?
A: No, you can order as little or as much as you like. The more you order, the more you are committing to your school’s fundraising efforts and the more time you likely save from having to walk through the grocery store. All groceries are delivered to the school free of charge.
Q: How quickly can we get our school started?
A: All you have to do is get your school administrator, whether it be your principal, PAC Committee, or parent volunteer responsible for organizing your school’s fundraising to fill out the “Register School” form by clicking on our Join page on our website – Once the form is completed all the administrator has to do is determine some order cut-off dates, and then all the parents can place orders that will be picked up at the school.
Q: Can our grandparents and other relatives support our fundraising program?
A: In fact its encouraged. The purpose of our online program is to encourage more than just parents and neighbours who can participate in a fundraising campaign. Even if relatives do not live in the area, they can purchase products and receive them to their home, although in such a case the amount of profit received by the school is less than if they picked the products up from the school, but the student will be recognized and rewarded for expanded support of the program.
Q: How do I know how much our school has raised from my purchases?
A: When you purchase your products, you will see a checkout total much like you do at a grocery store, where you will see your total products purchased, and below that a total amount fundraised. On your account page, you will see a collective total of the money fundraised with all your purchases, as well as the collective amount fundraised by everyone.
Q: How do I know when I will receive my order?
A: All your information is located on your account page. Your school will provide you with the cut-off dates, and the dates your order will be available for pick up at the school. Your account page will be the location where all the information you need to coordinate your orders will be located.
Q: How much will my school make?
A: Your school will profit up to 20% on every sale. If 100 families purchased just $40.00 every 2 weeks during the school year, your school will earn $14,000. The potential is there to earn more though as the number of families or the amount of groceries increases!
